I've been working a lot recently. I got a new job a few months back at ClientLogic, which is a call center that has a contract with PeoplePC (at the moment). PeoplePC is a dialup ISP, which I am providing tech support for. This is not difficult, but it is sometimes very mind-numbing and frustrating (mostly because of the customers). The most frustrating aspect is that I am supposed to fix all problems in an average time of 10 minutes, which for some things is easy, but some stuff just takes longer than 10 minutes.

Here's what I fixed today:
dialing the wrong number (18 min)
can't access webpages or email (13 min)
slow connection (13 min)
software reinstall over the 'net (5 min)
instructional on how to dial up properly (6 min)
software can't find phonebook (17 min)
gets disconnected frequently (9 min)
problems with CD installation (8 min)
*lunch*
script errors when running software (26 min)
software install over the 'net (10 min)
software install over the 'net (1 min (call dropped))
software install over the 'net (13 min)
software reinstall over the 'net (12 min)
software install over the 'net (8 min)
removal of other ISP software & software install over the 'net (40 min)
can't send email or open attachments (19 min)
software reinstall over the 'net (20 min)
