And in other news, I showed up to work this morning only to find out that I am supposed to work in the afternoon rather than in the morning. So I went out and had some breakfast by myself and now I'm back at home deciding what to do until I have to go back to work.

Yeah, it sure is... I like it, though :)

What's today? Umm... looks like Monday again- I worked on Sunday and I gamed on Saturday. I work today, but not until the afternoon. Oh, and Sam is now officially a part of the ~epw blog team (as it were). I can also post to his weblog if I ever feel like I have something insightful to say about international relations or world events or whatever. Boy, will they be surprised! Oh geez, it's almost time for the sun to rise... I better get to sleep before I turn to dust or something else equally nasty. G'night.

Home at last... Let the gaming begin! (As soon as Adam and Locky get here)

Work is almost over for me... I should really stop by my parent's house after work because my Dad wanted me to take some digital pictures of an organ and help him send them to a potential buyer. He also wants me to help clean out one of the back bedrooms so he can rebuild a Ford Ranger engine in it. I'll probably end up doing it tomorrow since tonight is gaming night and we usually start as soon as I get off work and everyone is rounded up. I also keep forgetting to run the get_girlfriendd daemon every time I boot myself up in the morning and start the usual services. I really need to remember to do that.

Ok, last night we ended up going to some random kegger so Mikey could talk to Jessica while I wandered around drinking. Mikey left before I did, getting a ride home from Taylor and Rosemary. I left shortly after that and got home to find Adam playing Soul Reaver 2: Legacy of Kain. I arrived just as the last cutscene of the game was taking place. Adam was disappointed because there wasn't a big boss battle or anything at the end of the game. There was only a fight with some slightly tougher than normal enemies, and then a cutscene where the main character, Raziel, kills his past self and his current self, and then the credits start rolling. It seemed kind of anti-climactic to me, too. Right now I'm at work just chillin', later tonight I hope to be playing D&D with the D&D crew (Will, Mikey, Adam, Locky, and Myself). Other than that, there ain't shit goin' on. Watch-wearing-status: ON

I went and got some smokes, upgraded mozilla, Mikey got home from work, Eric stopped by briefly, and now we're trying to figure out what to do tonight. bbl

No work today, woohoo! I got to sleep in until about 13:40 or so, and then proceeded to put on pants, wander downstairs, and check my emails and read the backlog for the irc channel I was logged into all night. I haven't put on my watch yet, though. Last night Adam and Eric and I hung out here and played Soul Reaver 2 until almost 02:00. I've also been playing Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn sometimes, too. Updates will follow as they arrive.

My DSL got disabled for a little while tuesday night and wednesday morning because I hadn't payed my ISP since October. I assumed that since they took the first payment from my checking account after giving them my check card number, they would continue to do so as needed. I was wrong; I actually have to call them and say it's ok to take the money. My ISP also has this deal where you get a free month of service if you buy 6 months at a time so I took them up on their offer and now I'm paid up until May. I didn't do too much else these past two days besides working and getting my DSL re-activated.

And guess what? It's tuesday again! I fleshed out a background for my character last night (with Adam's help), and I'm looking forward to getting a chance to play him.

Have you ever wondered what the hard part would be about reanimating a cryogenically suspended human brain? Well, a couple of guys were wondering just that and started a discussion on the subject.

Well, I found my watch.
23:45 -epw

Alrighty, I think I can think clearly enough now to write something more than just a long string of non-sequitor statements. (Or maybe not...) I finally checked out Sam's weblog, and I feel obligated to link to it since I am mentioned in it. He talks about international relations and current events and other such world-changing events with a superb sense of humor about it all. I also got to read the lowdown on his fish tank setup, which sounds like it's pretty schweeet. On a somewhat separate note, I seem to have lost my cursed watch of letting-tuesday-sneak-up-on-me, so it must not have been very strongly cursed. Being watchless has made me realize how much I depend on my watch to keep me properly anchored in the space-time continuum. Whee! Now I'm having trouble remembering what day it is. I guess if I don't know it's tuesday, I can't get snuck-up-on by it though. So I guess the lesson is: "I win!"

So my sleep schedule is a little messed up right now. I've been sleeping in the evenings and waking up in the wee hours of the morning for the past two days. It does make it easier to get to work on time when I've been awake for hours before I have to leave, though. Last night I got home from work and went directly to bed (pretty much). I ended up waking up around 01:30 and Allen and Vanessa and Mikey were just getting home from Anodyne where they were apparently celebrating Pat's 21st birthday. We hung out a little bit and then Allen and Vanessa left and Mikey and I played a little bit more Icewind Dale 2 before he went to bed. I stayed up all night and read some more of Dragons of Spring Dawning (the 3rd title in the Dragonlance Chronicles trilogy). Speaking of Dragonlance, I still need to come up with a character for the adventure that Adam's going to run pretty soon. In fact, I think he may be waiting to see what our characters are going to be before he writes any more adventure. I should really decide on something and roll up a character and make a background.

Bah! Tuesday snuck up on me again... I must be wearing the cursed watch of letting-Tuesday-sneak-up-on-you. Oh well- I hung out with Trek and Danny some more today (well, yesterday technically). and we had some food and played a bunch of SSX for the PS2 (a snowboarding game). I didn't do much all week except working and playing computer games and gaming and playing console games and ummm... I think that's about it. I should really try to remember to blog every day so I can get more detailed description of what I've done before I forget altogether. I know I always say I'll try to blog more often, and I never do, so I'll not bother making more empty promises this time. Hopefully I'll post again soon.

Tuesday morning, huh? I don't know how you sneak up on me all the time, but I don't like it! Anyway, yesterday I didn't have to work, so I just stayed home and played Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn (Win9x) and Dragonball Z: Budokai (?)(PS2). Sunday I worked the midday shift and went to Trek's to meet with Trek and Danny and play some Risk 2210. I sure did show them who rules the world of 2210, though. I ended up winning the 5-hour long game of Risk that we had going. At one point, I had all the territories on the planet Earth, and Trek had only the moon left. We're going to meet up again on Thursday afternoon/evening for some food and revelry. Other than that, things have been pretty much the same- work, video games, and sleep. See you next time.

Hello again. I am currently working, which is actually when I do most of my blogging. Yesterday I went to TJ and Shana's wedding. It went pretty well, all things considered. After the wedding, I went home and we played some more D&D. Adam went home around midnight, and Will and Mikey and I stayed up until around 04:00 playing the new Dragonball Z game for the PS2. Tonight I'm going to meet up with Danny and Trek and play some Risk 2210. Apparently it's a futuristic version of the original Risk. Danny tells me that it's not as much fun with two players because Trek keeps kicking his ass. I'll have to show them who's the real ruler of the world in 2210.... mwaaahhhhaaahahahaahahaah!

Today is Friday, and I don't have to work today! Woohoo! Tomorrow I am going to the wedding of some friends of mine. My friend and supervisor is getting married, so I'm attending the service at the Hyatt at about 16:00. I got my CD burner in the mail yesterday, but I'm still waiting on the CDRs. I stopped by Sandia Computers on Tuesday afternoon, but they said that they were well staffed and that I could send them my resume and they would keep it on file. So I did. The upload of The Lord of The Rings is going well... it's about 85% done right now. Will brought over Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn last night, and we played a lot of that yesterday. I also have plans to hang out with Trek and Danny on Sunday evening. I told Danny I could come over to Trek's after I got off of work (at about 16:00), but I found out today that I work on Sunday from 12:30 until 21:00. I may be able to get out of there by 18:00 or so, but I should really call Danny and/or Trek and let them know that I'll be a little later than expected. I'm still reading Dragons of Winter Night, the second book of the Dragonlance chronicles, in preparation for the Dragonlance adventure that Adam's going to run at some point in the future. I haven't really come up with a solid idea for a character yet, but I thought playing a swashbuckling pirate would be a lot of fun. I've also been listening to The Lord of The Rings on and off, but I'm only 18 tracks in so far (of 1091), so I've got a long way to go. If I think of anything else or if something else interesting happens, I'll let you know.
